Thank you all for making our first real fundraiser a rousing success. A fun evening of entertainment featuring Sal Viviano with The Jay Ferguson Jazz Trio and Yvonne Larson provided a night we won’t soon forget. We were also fortunate to have Dann Gire came back home to Charleston to host our event as Honorary Emcee.

We’re inching closer to $25,000 by the day! Thanks for being true friends of the Will! Stay tuned for more events and opportunities to give and to advocate for our Will Rogers Theatre. We’re just getting started!

2016 is going to be a very exciting year for old Will!

We’re starting off the year with $12,000 already in the bank toward our first goal of $100,000. Now, that might not seem like a whole lot of money to you but it represents some very early votes of confidence in this project by people who care about our community. We’re excited to see what this year brings. Stay tuned here for updates as we move through the year. Our goal is to keep those of you who love the Will as informed and involved as we can.

An early shout out to our community business owners who, to a person, have already begun supporting us via our I Love the Will sign campaign. We’re so thankful to be part of a community that’s on the rise and that process begins with a whole lot of people really committed to doing the work way before the fun part happens. Thank you, friends! Here’s to a Happy & Prosperous New Year! Let’s all make sure to support our local businesses so that they can be here for us for a good long time.
